What better way to kickoff the weekend than brunch on a Friday morning with none other than my beautiful mother?! Since being home, I've definitely missed the convenience of walking a few blocks to my favorite breakfast/ brunch spots in Downtown, Manhattan. But-- Have no fear, I've made it a mission of mine to explore some of the best restaurants here in Downtown Richmond, Virginia.
I've lived here all my life and I have really never spent too much time downtown or even past Carytown, so when my mom and I stumbled upon The Daily Grind this morning in the search for a Instagram worthy latte, I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Although my visit was short and sweet since I had only fifteen minutes to down a coffee and a grapefruit before heading to work I can definitely say that I will be back!
