Here's to the new kid on the block...
Well folks... I did it again. I went shopping for a second weekend in a row and as a result I am officially banned from any and all shopping for the remainder of the month. Now seeing as though I just received my Nordstrom card in the mail we will see how long this lasts, but I'm willing to give it an ole college try! Obsessive shopping is not a disease-- it is a gift sent from God, embrace it, believe it, receive it, embrace it. AM I RIGHT LADIES?!
Oh and I also shared some yummy bruschetta with my mom to add fuel to shopzilla aka myself.
Snag!
June 12, 2015
Yes ladies and gentlemen that's right ya girl snagged a pair of Rag & Bone jeans this past weekend at Nordstrom for $100 off! So heres the breakdown:
1. Rag & Bone jeans original price = $250
2. Tried on just to see the fit
3. Tried on a size 24 and 26 ( the store didn't have 25)
4. Size 24 was a winner 26 was not! But here's the catcher!
5. size 26 tag was marked down for $150 but size 24 tag had the original price of $250
6. Went to the register to ask!
Drum Roll pleaseeeeeeee!
7. They were on sale for $150! can we say deal? Um yes!
About the Jean: They fit great and feel like butter-- need I say more?
This fit is supposed to be a little loose so I got them in a size smaller than usual. The 24 fits snug but that's what you want when you are shopping for a jean they will give a little but not a crazy amount.
Madewell Bralette $39 Ray Ban Sunnies $200 Free People Sandal $68 Rag & Bone Jeans $198
Free People Tunic $74 Madewell Tote $168
Weekends are meant to be just like a covergirl commercial: "easy, breezy, and beautiful" -- If there is one thing that I wear every weekend without fail it is a bralette! Give those girls a rest, they deserve it since they have been cooped up all week in a tight pushup bra with underwire -- it's nice just to have a light weight bra to throw on for the weekend. Next up: a perfectly fitting pair of jeans, being in NYC running around all the time I love to wear a great skinny jean with just a lightweight top on the weekends in just about every season, but for those days that it is just waaaay too hot for jeans, I swap the jeans and tee for a comfortable maxi dress.

I'll admit it! I can barely make it through the weekend without taking a stroll through the mall -- or when I'm back in NYC-- without going to SOHO or Herald Square or walking up and down Fifth Ave. (lol can't you tell I'm a shopper) Anyway back to the point at hand-- I just so happened to take a stroll through the mall and stumbled upon a few good things that I had to pick up!

What did you find on during your weekend?
I bought my first issue of Porter magazine, which I still haven't read cover to cover yet (oops) and I also picked up Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita which I can't wait to dive into this summer. It's about love duh.

Everyday makeup is definitely an important aspect in my everyday look. Now I'm not saying go overboard in your everyday makeup, because I mean lets be honest, chances are you are only going to school or to the grocery store so there really is no need to go all out-- These are my picks for everyday makeup!
Essentials : Beach / Pool
June 1, 2015 • Lifestyle
It's the beginning of June and nothing screams summer more than going to the beach! It's so funny to me how I literally have more bikini's than I know what to do with and I hardly ever go to the beach or to the pool, but it's the thought that counts... and just like shoes, you can never have too many!
