Vanity/Desk/Table: An antique store 10yrs ago (el oh el)
I have had this vanity ever since I was a little girl so it has have been in my possession for at least 10 years...probably closer to 15. I think my parents bought it at an antique store but I could be making that up because that's just where I like to think it comes from. It could very well have been an antique piece of my mom's or something, who knows! (I'll just stick to the initial presumption)
Anyway, Over the past 5 years I have used it as a little vanity to hold my makeup and jewelry but prior to that it was used as a table in our kitchen.
I always loved the iridescent finishing of the wood/paint, but my favorite part is the secret mirror.
If you flip the top of the table up inside is a mirror that comes up and a little storage space for all your makeup and fragrances. Unfortunately I don't showcase it that way in my room because I like the placement of the picture frame cork board leaning up against the wall on the desk and I couldn't place that there and have the mirror pop open too (just did work out as far as space) - but I do use it as storage and I love that it's like a secret door.
Maybe I'll snap a pic and post it later so you can see.
Now I use the piece as my desk or as I like to call it my bloggie vanity desk! I keep some cute trinkets at the corner and always an issue of vogue for aesthetics and inspiration.

Let me just say I am obsessed with this fit. The shirt the shoes the pants. My my the pants! I could literally go to sleep in this outfit that's the level of comfortableness I am talking about.
And yes, I plan on wearing this top as a night gown, a beach cover up and with leggings.
Although it was extremely overpriced (as most of Free People stuff is) it was worth it.
Peace.

I've always been obsessed with home interiors but I think it has definitely gone to a new level now that I find myself buying furniture for my non existing apartment....
And by non existing I mean I don't have one, at least not yet but when I do (which will probably be another year from now) I am pretty much ready to move in fully furnished because I have definitely started to rack up on home furniture and decor for my future place.
When it comes to my vibe and aesthetic these are a few of the key things I look for and like when I decorate any of my living spaces

The Deets:
Lip Liner- NARS Velvet lip liner in Patong Beach ($20)
NYX Matte Creame in Abu Dhabi ($6)
MAC Luster Lipstick in Hug Me ($15)
I am not usually one to wear lip products, but with matte lips being a big trend (thanks King Kylie) I've given into peer pressure and started smearing some stuff on my lippies.
As per usual I wear a combination of products (listed above) to give me the right shade that I am aiming for!
These three products are way cheaper than the Kylie Lip Kit and while I haven't tried the Kylie product I am just about positive that these products will give you just about the same kind of look as one of the Kylie Lip Kit colors (No clue which one exactly, but you probably know better than I do)
You can most definitely wear them separately - in fact I recommend it. Even the lip liner! Just line your lips and fill them in with the pencil and throw on a coat of chapstick and VOILA!
Keep reading to see what my secret weapon to get the exact same look all in one product!

I think you know you're an adult when you choose to spend your money on fancy smelly water rather than over priced poor quality clothing...
I mean if that doesn't scream "hey look I'm adulting" I don't know what does
#AMIRIGHTLADIES
The key to smelling good and finding "your special scent" is mixing fragrances. I do it all the time and I feel like a freakin chemist.
Just do it, mix em all and spray em all- and a lot
Really drench yourself in the smelly rose water ladies
(use your discretion obviously- we want to smell good not like we just bathed in perfume)
